	Presearch Custom Solution 01 A common request we receive here at Presearch is to automate standard methods involving several liquid transfer stages. Here is a particular example of offline, sample preparation for one such application (although due to confidentiality we are unable to give exact details).   The CTC shown in this video is configured to aspirate and dispense solvent 1 into a 10ml vial which is then transferred to the shaken heater block (or incubator) for a specified time. The 10ml vial is then removed and reagent 2, 3 and 4 (an organic extraction solvent) are added then mixed. The two phases are allowed to separate and the organic layer is aspirated and transferred to a 2ml vial, ready for injection on to the GC or LC. This configuration can be easily converted to a fully automated online solution by utilising a second CTC PAL to complete the injection using a smaller syringe, and thus, reducing a complicated and time consuming method to a fully automated solution capable of running 24-7, 365 days a year! 	Presearch Custom Solution 02 This custom solution allows the CTC PAL to be utalised as a standard autosampler, but also function as a fraction collector. The configuration shown in the video, also employs an extra valve so that between fractions, this valve can be switched to ensure that there are no drips between fractions.In addition, this configuration allows any collection vessle to be used and any faction size to be collected.
